Steven Smallwood

Steven Smallwood grew up in Snellville, GA, and received Jesus Christ as his Savior in June of 1978 at a vacation Bible school at his church. In 1993, Steven became the assistant pastor at his home church, Calvary Baptist Church, in Loganville, Georgia. In 1998, Steven took the senior pastorate of Sunnyside Baptist Church in North Rose, New York. He was also the principal of Sunnyside Christian Academy during his tenure here.
In 2002, he returned to Georgia to accept the senior pastorate of Harvest Baptist Church in Monroe, GA (a church that his grandfather had planted in 1983). While at Harvest, Steven began teaching the Netcasters Soulwinning Course on a regular basis and started a chapter of the Reformers Unanimous Addictions Program. In August of 2010, Steven accepted the position of senior pastor at Hope Baptist Church in Winder, GA. His wife, Karri, grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. They began dating in college, and were married in 1991. The Smallwoods have five living children, three grandchildren, and have resided in Bethlehem, Georgia, since 2002.
